Imagination. Indepedence. Friendship. Fun!

We created another scout-patch-style logo for Foothill Horizons Summer Camp in Sonora, California. This unique overnight camp provides five-day experience to children in grades two through high school. The focus of thier program is on cultivating a childs imagination, independence, friendships while providing a host of fun activities.

Our design encorporates a "sky tower" (a landmark at the facility) that bridges the two words together (bridging people together), the towering mountains of the Sierra Nevada (a sense of adventure) and a nighttime sky to symbolize the the imagination as well as the overnight experience. Blues and purples were chosen to representing imagination and creativity. This design was an important part of a rebranding of the camp back in 1994.
